Y.A. Tittle

Yelberton Abraham Tittle left an indelible
mark on the game of professional football
throughout a Hall of Fame career that
spanned seventeen seasons. Seldom has an
athlete been so revered by so many. When
Oliver Stone began work on a film about
professional football, one of his first
requests was to meet his boyhood hero.

Tittle began his career in the All American
Football Conference where the Baltimore
Colts drafted him. He then played ten seasons
with the 49ers before being traded to
the New York Giants where he led them to
three straight division titles. One of Y.A.’s
high marks was throwing for 36 touchdowns
in 1963. He also likes to remind his
teammates that he rushed for 999 yards.
Tittle was inducted into the Pro Football
Hal of Fame in 1971. Y.A. and his wife
Minette have four children, Pat, Mike,
John, and Diane.

Tom Flores

Tom Flores is one of two people in NFL
history (Mike Ditka being the other) to
win Super Bowl rings as a player
(Chiefs-Super Bowl IV), assistant coach
(Raiders-Super Bowl XI), and head
coach (Raiders-Super Bowl XV and
Super Bowl XVIII). He was also the first
quarterback in Raider’s franchise history,
playing with the team from 1960-1966.
Flores was also the head coach of the
Seattle Seahawks and served the
National Football League as a member
of its prestigious competition committee
for five years.

A native of Fresno, Tom Flores hometown
is Sanger (just east of Fresno) where the
Sanger Football Stadium is named in his
honor. Flores heads the Tom Flores Youth
Foundation, which benefits the children
in the Sanger area.

He and his wife Barbara have twin sons,
three grandsons and two granddaughters

Entry forms and fees MUST be returned by June 1, 2008. NFL Alumni is a Non-Profit 501 (c) (3) Tax Exempt Organization (FEIN: 59-1782262)

• Lake and Ocean Courses.
• Registration begins 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
• Shotgun Start at 11:00 a.m.
• Each will be a fivesome, captained by an NFL Alumni or current player.
• Food and refreshments before and during golf.
• Cocktails, dinner, awards and auction in the Olympic Club Ballroom.

• The winning team will represent the NFLA Northern California Chapter in the Super Bowl of Golf XXIX, April 2009.
• Special prizes for longest drive, closest to the pin, and holes-in-one.
• Play will be Texas Scramble System. The two lowest scores will count.
• Pick up at three over par.
