NFL Alumni Holds Largest Red Ribbon Day Ever

The NFL Alumni Northern California Chapter held its 8th Annual Red Ribbon Day Drug Awareness Program at Chapter Headquarters on October 27, 2009.

300 kids from all over San Jose to San Francisco participated in the morning seminar led by Executive Committee Member Carolyn Hoskins. The kids were given first hand accounts of the perils of drug and alcohol addiction and how lives are ruined as a result of bad decisions.

Alumni Members Henry “Model T” Ford, Gary Weaver, and Delvin Williams gave the kids straight talk, and then signed autographs.

Program chair Carolyn Hoskins was thrilled with the turnout and pledges to continue the good fight to help kids.
