Dick Nolan

In Memorium

Dick Nolan was a great coach, a wonderful family man and a tremendous representative of all that is good about professional football.

The NFL Alumni offers its most sincere and heartfelt condolences to the Nolan family in this difficult time.

In May 2006, the NFL Alumni Northern California Chapter honored Dick and his family in a private reception that included many of his former players and administrators. Below are a few of those photos.

Dick Nolan, a great veteran of professional football, passed away on Veterans Day November 11, 2007, in Dallas, Texas.

Larry Schreiber Running back---He developed the winning formula that kept the respect of all the players--

Len Rohde Offensive tackle--- Coach Nolan was a class act. He treated all the players fairly and the results speak for themselves with three division titles--

Ken Willard Fullback----- He brought organization and discipline to a team that was somewhat ragged. The results were three championships. He also began the policy of off season training, which has helped all the teams as they do it today.
