2006 Klays for Kids Sporting Clays Team Challenge

Whether you're a beginner or a champion shooter, you will be sure to enjoy our 5th Annual Klays for Kids Sporting Clays Team Challenge!  Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the NFLA Drug Program in the local schools plus other Bay Area kids charities including boys and girls clubs, schools, individual scholarships, educational supplies, sporting equipment, etc. Our affiliation with these charities will further the NFL Alumni's cause of Caring for Kids.

Set for Saturday, September at the Coyote Valley Sporting Clays. Shooters compete in teams of five, which include a celebrity captain. The tournament consist of sporting clays targets presented in a casual tournament format. Awards are presented to the top three teams. In the case of ties, shoot-offs determine winners.

Participants also have the opportunity to enjoy shooting games, win door prizes and purchase raffle tickets throughout the day. The event concludes with a BBQ and cocktails during the awards ceremony.

The 5th Annual NFL Alumni Klays For Kids NFL was held September 30, 2006 at Coyote Valley Sporting Clays in Morgan Hill. Teams from all over Northern California competed for top honors, with former Raider running back Marv Hubbard’s team taking first place honors.

From the North:

• Take 280 or 680 South to 101 South (or 85 South) to Bernal Rd.;
• Go Right (West) on Bernal Rd. to Santa Teresa Blvd.
• Turn left (South) on Santa Teresa Blvd. to San Bruno Ave.
• Turn right onto San Bruno Ave. and follow the signs to Coyote Valley Sporting Clays.

From the South:

• Take 101 North to Cochrane Rd.
• Go Left (West) on Cochrane Rd. to Monterey Rd.
• Go Right on Monterey Rd. to Tilton Ave.
• Go Left (West) on Tilton Ave. to Hale Ave.
• Go Right (North) on Hale to San Bruno Ave and follow the signs.
